The Consulting Services (CS) division of ABT presents a unique opportunity to evaluate your battery and charger operations independent of specific equipment manufacturers or service providers. Our focus is simply to increase productivity, significantly reduce operating costs, and lower capital expenditures of batteries, chargers and battery handling equipment, irregardless of who manufacturers the equipment or provides necessary services.
That’s right, the CS division will assess, recommend, budget and implement a battery program for your material handling equipment. If new equipment or additional services are needed, ABT will write the spec and assist you in going out for bid to get the best value for your investment.
The CS process begins with an Assessment Study and Management Report that includes all of your facilities. Our study and recommendations will include batteries, chargers, battery handling systems, battery room layout, and on-going maintenance. From this study, we make our Target Recommendations, which include product and bid specifications. We also include a Transition Plan, detailing a five-year phase-out of old equipment. A key component is the Maintenance Program, which we will evaluate and make recommendations for an in-house or outside contractor program. Lastly, we always include an Environmental Disposal Program to ensure your old equipment is properly disposed of.
Our standard CS goal is a 20% return on investment.
